Mission Support
Ward Parkway actively supports several community organizations through donations and volunteer service. We contribute to the Argentine Baby Closet, Covenant Presbyterian Food Pantry, Cross-Lines Community Services, and Hale Cook Elementary. Each month, we serve lunch at the Cross-Lines Community Kitchen, and we also volunteer with Lead to Read KC to support youth literacy.
Covenant Presbyterian items requested: paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, bar soap, laundry soap, and ramen noodles.
Argentine Baby Closet items requested: diapers (sizes 2-5), wipes, formula, Similac Advance Formula (blue lid), baby cereal, packaged toddler food, new or gently used clothing.
Cross-lines Community Outreach items requested: shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, laundry detergent, dish soap. (sample or hotel sizes accepted) New adult socks and underwear.
We are now collecting throughout the school year. It’s most convenient to come during preschool hours. Ring bell at south entrance Mondays 9:00 am- noon, Tuesdays-Thursdays 9:00 am-2 pm.
